Social Campaign: Misconception

During my time at Participant Media, I helped research and organize campaign materials for the documentary film Misconception in partnership with various organizations, including a screening and discussion hosted with UN Women and U.S. Congresswoman Karen Bass.

Social Campaign:

Middle of Nowhere

I helped research and organize campaign concepts for the "right to Call Home" campaign, which focussed on giving inmates an affordable option to keep in contact with their loved ones and reducing recidivism rates.

The partnership campaign with The Center for Media Justice led up to the FCC decision to end predatory phone rates in 2015.

Social Campaign: Change the Course

Change the Course brings together corporations, conservation organizations, and the public to raise awareness about freshwater, reduce water footprints, and ensure clean and reliable water for rivers, commerce, and communities.

I crafted the text messaging and email blasts for the Change the Course digital community.

Social Campaign:

An Inconvenient Truth - 10th Anniversary

As a social media strategist for Participant Media, I researched and craft the social media copy for the campaign marking the 10th anniversary of the film's release.

I also continually managed the social engagement of the film's 500,000-person Facebook fan page.

More Campaigns

As a social media strategist and a social action campaign researcher and planner for Participant Media, I worked  a number of international campaigns related to human rights and international development.

My responsibilities ranged from  researching social issues to conceptualizing media content for the digital space to creating a network of global partners and arranging international meetings.
